1) My chosen radio station I will be analysing and discussing is called English Rose - limelight. This audio is broadcasted on BBC Radio every Fridays. English rose only has two series. The episodes are roughly all around 30 mins unless it is an introduction which would be 2 minutes. The target audience is aimed to people who enjoy mysterious, supernature drama. This programme also reflects how human beings like to be hidden within the real bubble within their own comfort, therefore, teenagers also find a desire to watch and enjoy this series. This programme can also be accessed by the BBC radio app that the audience need to install, listening on an actual radio or even BBC radios websites.
2)The overall structure of the programme is the presenter introducing the show and BBC Radio 4 on the channel. It then plays the news reporter, reporting victims (her victims) and dead corpse alongside of several roads and areas. This then leads to English roses daily day, receiving phone calls and hearing her thoughts and conversations with friends and workers. English rose tries to prevent her hunger from humans but talks about the struggles as her "mind wonders". She talks to the audience without directly talking but inform she audience of information she thinks of other and thought she thinks in her head. She also states her urges about her impulsive and intrusive thoughts.
3)The whole purpose of this series is to entertain and educate. The educational aspect is shown by English rose talking about how she is sick and tired of men and the male gaze. This is first shown at the duration of 6:50 where she lightly discusses her thoughts to the audience. ("he examines me in the mirror with a concentrated gaze I've seen many times, it says I see your athletic form as an insult and I will gobble you up, given half the chance "). This is just the beginning to what she talks about deeply about how men speak to women and how they treat women as objects. This is educational for the younger generations but men and women, considering the fact the boys will see how saying certain things or treating women can affect them which alters how they act and what not to do in the now or in the near future. On the other hand, the entertainment aspect of it is shown as of the vampire immortal, gloomy and mysterious aspect. At 13:01 "wow no okay, maybe the straightforward northern approach isn't going to work with these people " . One other reason I had wanted to pick this radio channel out of all the ones on BBC 4 is because it reminded me of my inner child, I loved watching vampire styled movies and I still do, I wouldn't pick to but if I had the opportunity or it was shown on the tv and I had nothing else to do I would genuinely enjoy watching it. Therefore, not matter the age, the immortal aspect will always be enjoyed. I am still a young adult and I find entertainment through this series.

5) Throughout the whole series of English rose, there are different sounds and audios playing that are used which enhances and intensifies the scene. For example, the same spine-chilling audio in the intro and outro for English rose, which is played at 0:11 and 26:42. This is what sets the series the mysterious, sinister and action style within the movie. This scene is where there are a bunch of audios all together of people reporting dead corpses or unethical scenes. Hering horror in their voice is what goes horrifically with the sound and gives that bloodcurdling effect. It enhances the atmospheres vibes majorly.
6)The mode of address presented through English rose is her feminine thinking process and her thoughts about the men, the world and life struggle as well as her struggles being a vampire. One example is English rose assumes “she knows why I'm here and her look isn't buying my excuse and is saying actually tell me why you're here”. This is her thoughts but her overthinking as well which is played during 20:01 to 21:30. This is shown as she assumes off of facial expressions and no actual face to face confrontation. This gets the audience doubting if there is disbelief in either English rose or the women, she is assuming doesn't believe English rose. This is a clear demonstration that English roses thoughts, beliefs and statements are what influence the way the audience think and feel as well through the whole series.
